With 27 years of service to Vermont Occupational Safety and Health Administration (VOSHA), 29 years as a volunteer fire fighter, and 10 plus years as a volunteer hunter safety instructor, Dan Whipple, OHST brings a wealth of OSHA knowledge as well as real world application of a true safety culture for the workplace. 

About Integrity Safety Consulting Services, LLC

Our Story

Through years of experience in Vermont's regulatory OSHA program, Dan has served as a compliance officer/whistleblower investigator, compliance assistance specialist and finally program manager. As a volunteer fire fighter for many years, Dan retired as Deputy Chief and worked with fire crews in fire ground planning and interior attack. Dan's passion for the safety of workers has been the focus of his professional career. "I believe that workplaces with strong culture, that includes employee involvement, workplace assessment and a robust training regimen, are those best equipped to anticipate and address situations that could expose employees to hazards."   

Our Services

We offer a variety of consulting services in both the general industry and construction fields. Services include:

  • Worksite safety assessment
  • Program development, review and assistance
  • Abatement assistance (VOSHA and OSHA violations)
  • Program specific and general safety training, such as fall protection, lockout/tagout, hazard communication, etc.
  • General safety meeting attendance and assistance
  • Assistance in preparations for Voluntary Protection Programs application, including program review, application assistance and employee surveys
  • Public and motivational speaking

We can customize services to meet the particular needs of employer worksites.

Our Mission

At Integrity Safety Consulting Services, LLC, we believe that collaboration is key to success. We work with employers to address hazards through worksite assessments and assistance with worksite safety programs such as Lockout Tagout, Hazard Communication, Confined Space Entry, etc. We also very strongly believe that employee knowledge, understanding and engagement are critical to viability in the long term. Our approach considers employees as equal partners in the safety and health of the workplace. The average person makes 35,000 decisions every day. Many of those decisions are made while at work. We want your employees to make good decisions that are supported by a strong safety culture.
